Senior Financial Analyst

 

CapeOmega is an energy infrastructure group focusing on infrastructure solutions that enable the energy-transition. CapeOmega is the largest private gas infrastructure owner in Norway, which includes 26% in Gassled JV, 28% in Polarled JV and 18% in Nyhamna JV. This represents the world’s largest gas infrastructure system.

Further, the group is engaged in the shipping of energy transitioning fuel and carbon capture solutions. We currently are invested in six LNG vessels under construction. The newbuilds are expected to be up to 40% more fuel efficient than traditional LNG tankers and are on long term charters with energy majors.

The group is backed by Partners Group a leading global infrastructure investor with USD 127 billion in asset under management.

The group aims to invest in energy transition infrastructure with ongoing projects in both Hydrogen production & transport and Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS).

For this challenging ambition, CapeOmega needs the best team players and is now seeking:

 

Senior Financial Analyst

 

Main responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis
• Financial Modelling
• Due Diligence & screening processes
• Financial derivatives and risk management
• Prepare Thematic papers and documentation for the management, board and investment committee

 

Preferred personal qualities of the candidate are:

• Analytical skills
• Good commercial understanding
• Strong drive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Independent and self-motivated
• Outgoing and motivated to be a team player
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English

 

 

Preferred background of the candidate is:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Due diligence management
• Master’s degree in relevant fields – e.g. Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) or Industrial Economics and Technology Management

 

Other information

• The candidate reports directly to the strategy and portfolio manager
• Workplace: Bergen or Stavanger, with some travel to be required
